Aniline leather, that is aniline dyed in a brilliant blue coloration then embossed with a lizard print. It is then hand-finished with an aniline tipping and a top coat of water-based solvent that will not rub off to seal the surface against casual stains and mishaps. This article is more stiff, so only suitable for flat surfaces like the outside parts of sofas and chairs or to cover a desk top.
